Glasgow girl Sara got married in her families homeland of Italy . Married to Italian beau Antonio in the stunning setting of Modena
Their wedding was idyllic and traditional, a beautiful couple, a romantic ceremony and a good and proper party afterwards!
Sara came to us before her wedding, in search of the perfect gown. She was looking for an elegant lace fishtail dress to show off her amazing hourglass figure.
We loved working with Sara and her sisters in the run up to the wedding, designing and creating this beautiful and iconic bespoke wedding dress.
Design Process & Fittings
After working on design development, we decided on a delicate Ivory lace, to be made up with a very full fishtail.
After the initial design stage, we make a basic mock-up of the dress in calico to allow our brides to see what the shape and style of their gown will look like, and we can tweak individual lines of the dress from here, deciding on skirt fullness, train length and neckline.
Sara's final fitting in the shop, trying on her wedding dress for the last time before the big day! We just loved the simple veil she chose to set of the gentle V back and the show stopping lace train!
