Our beautiful bride Laura, tied the knot with her Husband Jonathon at One Devonshire Gardens in December. For the ceremony, Laura wanted a simple yet striking gown in warm, wintery gold tones.
Laura was especially keen to have a thistle theme running though her gown, and we used a stunning thistle lace designed by Timorous Beasties for the side panels leading into the train.
We layered the lace with some embellished sequin tulle, coffee colour organza and a gold toned duchess satin to achieve the beautiful flowing mix of fabrics, textures & colours.
Each panel was separated by delicate piping, and individually placed pearls to provide some texture and detail to the gown.

After an initial consultation with Laura, we quickly agreed on a design for the gown, she knew exactly what shape the gown was to be, and that she wanted a modern yet elegent design made up of different size and shaped panels to provide detail.

Playing with layering textures and patterns to give as close an idea to the final look of the gown as possible.

We added a bustle to the dress, to allow the train to be shortened for dancing in the evening. Laura was lovely enough to share her wedding pictures with us!
